Listen, Learn & Engage
We start by gaining an understanding of the needs of our potential client. We meet with the key players in the hiring process and review the job description. We then determine our mutual fit for the recruiting effort. Items such as expertise, timing, rates and working agreements are determined in this step.
Once engaged, we meet with hiring managers and visit the working location to better understand personalities and company environment. We discuss key soft skills, company culture, potential career progression and selling points of the position. We finalize the job description and discuss our client’s list of required and preferred soft and hard skills they’d like to see in the candidates presented.
Source, Search & Hunt
We put our team to work. We source a pool of candidates that fit the requirements of the position. We use tools such as industry target lists, target company and competitor lists, Google, social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, information in the public domain such as blogs, conference lists, thought pieces – and our internal database – to find the talented individuals that match the client’s requirements. We map out the potential candidate base and develop a pool of viable candidates.
We then turn to targeted head hunting and networking. We hit the phones. We leverage social networking. We get in touch with individuals. We talk to them live. We get to know them. We gain referrals. We make more calls.
Narrow & Select
We analyze our pool of candidates, narrow them down to the best and brightest, and present the top candidates to our client. We provide our clients with valuable information and insights not available on resumes – we give our clients the full picture of the candidates prior to their face-to-face meetings. We discuss each candidate’s qualifications, conversations and desires.
We help schedule interviews with the client’s team. The specific interview process and cadence is dictated by our client.
